Mother's Day art at Periwinkle's Toy Shoppe
Create a heart-warming gift that any mother, grandmother, stepmother, or fairy godmother will cherish forever! Have your child's hand-drawn heart converted into wood to cherish and display forever. Come by Periwinkle's Toy Shoppe with your kids to create their Heart Project in time for Mother's Day. If your child can draw a heart, they can do this project! It doesn't need to be perfect- it needs to reflect them and their stage of life! Time flies so fast; so capture this moment to touch someone's heart for a lifetime.

Date: Sat, 27 April 2024
Time: 12-4 pm
Location: Periwinkle's Toy Shoppe | 326 NE Cedar St, Camas, WA 98607
Project includes:
- 1 6x6 wood block, painted white and finished
- a 10-minute time slot of your choice to leave your hand-drawn heart for your gift
- the hand-drawn heart will be converted into a format that can be read and cut out of wood by a laser
- your choice of color for the raised wood heart
- optional add-on: your child's name in their handwriting engraved onto the block
- project will be completed off-site and returned to Periwinkle's Toy Shoppe for pickup before Mother's Day. You will receive a pick-up notice.
Important notes:
- Pre-registration is required. Pick your time slot at Periwinkle's Toy Shoppe. Slots will run at 10-minute intervals, so please be punctual.
- If you have a multi-child family and adjacent time slots are not available, contact me and I'll make a plan for you!
- Please have a parent accompany the children in the store, and assist with creating a successful drawing.
Cancellation policy:
A lot of prep work goes into each project ahead of time, so please let me know soon if you can't make your time so that it can be opened for someone else.
- 5 days ahead: full refund minus booking charges
- 2 days ahead: 50% refund
- Cancellations within 48 days and no-shows will forfeit their fee.
However: Life happens, so please reach out directly, so we can best help you if you're in a pickle and possibly set up an alternative time to meet you at Periwinkle's- we want you to have something beautiful to last a lifetime.
